To achieve an effortless, captivating performance, musicians have to endure long hours of physical and mental effort, exhausting travel and high levels of psychological pressure. Some say that going on a stage in front of a hall full of people equals the experience of facing a hungry tiger in the jungle.
Dealing permanently with the highest calls of their artistic aspirations, musicians often forget that it is their body that they do the hard work with, often under difficult circumstances and in physically unnatural positions. Also the mind is restless, constantly reverberating with sounds and ideas.
Always striving to give a valuable experience to their public, it is crucial for any artist to find time for grounding, purification and healthy lifestyle - in order to remain sane and healthy and therefore continue offering genuine and inspiring moments.
The Podsreda Castle and it's wonderful surrounding nature offer a perfect scenery and space to retreat and regenerate. With the support of a few experienced practitioners of yoga and physical therapy, access to the Spas in the area, walks in the beautiful nature and access to locally grown, ecological food, the artists in residence shall experience a purifying and grounding time - to regenerate their reserves, reconnect with nature and enjoy a relaxing, fulfilling time together.

Literaturzimmer is a new series of intimate literary evenings dedicated to celebrating the beauty of words, the rhythm of poetry, and the warmth of shared stories. Set in a cozy, living-room-style atmosphere, each event invites you to slow down, listen, and connect — with literature, with others, and with yourself.
Every edition brings together poetry readings, insightful conversations, and live music, accompanied by a delightful selection of food and drinks. Whether you come to listen, to share, or simply to be inspired, Literaturzimmer offers a welcoming space where language and culture meet in harmony.
Guests are encouraged to bring along their favorite poem, their curiosity, and their voice — readings are open in German or English.

Award-winning photographer Andrej Grilc is one of the most sought-after music photographers of the younger generation. He was born into a family with long tradition in photography, dating back three generations to 1942. The focus of his work is on portrait and concert photography in the field of classical music. He uses both analog and digital techniques. He draws inspiration from the old masters of photography from the French and Czech schools as well as from Italian Renaissance painting. His work can be seen regularly in exhibitions and graces the covers of major publishers such as Deutsche Grammophon, Decca, Sony Classics, Warner Classics, Alpha Classics and Naxos.
Parallel Andrej Grilc passionately pursues street photography, dedicating himself to a compelling project titled "In 80 Portraits Around the World." Throughout this ongoing, multi-year endeavour, he ventures to distant locales, capturing the essence of inspiring individuals deeply rooted in their cultures. Grilc is drawn to faces from bygone eras, faces that teeter on the edge of vanishing in our rapidly evolving world and tries to preserve them via means of photography. His set of portraits of India "Portraits of Varanasi" were awarded at Natural Density Photography awards.
